333 CAFE’ has been Delmar’s little secret for many years. Owned Originally by Paul Hall. He employed Chris Dangerfield and me, Libby Thomas, as chefs. We all had worked at Ogden’s, an Albany fine dining favorite, together in the late 80′s early 90′s. That being the template for 333 CAFE’.
After several years, Chris and I bought the 333 CAFE’ from Paul. While Chris remained in the kitchen, I moved out into the dining room taking care of the customers and would fill in the gaps cooking and baking. Our culinary backgrounds were a good compliment to each other. Chris is naturally talented and spent his career gathering experiences from different kitchens around the country. I got my degree from SCCC while I worked at Ogden’s (an education in itself).
In fall 2011 Chris and his family moved to AZ. and It’s been a whirlwind ever since. Rob Paley has joined the family!!..We have evolved over the years and now Welcome Chef John Futia! (Lib & John have known each other since Pre school.. he is a Delmar native)..and our faithful wait staff round out the team!
We enjoy catering on and off premise. A bonus of being a small independent business is getting to know our customers and sharing in their lives. 333 participates in local charity–food events close to our hearts. “Community Gardens”, “To Life”, “Epilepsy Confections in Chocolate”..and many more….
